In July, the association “AniridijaLT” organized its highly anticipated annual members’ and families’ meeting, which took place in the picturesque setting in a deer park. This event brought together members of the association, their families, and supporters for a day of connection, learning, and enjoyment in a serene natural environment.
The unique location added a special charm to the gathering. Participants, especially the children, were delighted to interact with the resident deer, enjoying the rare opportunity to feed and observe these gentle animals up close. The activity not only brought joy but also fostered a sense of appreciation for nature and wildlife among attendees of all ages.
The meeting served as a platform for the association to share updates on its ongoing projects, achievements, and plans for the future. Members had the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, exchange experiences, and provide valuable feedback to guide the association’s initiatives moving forward.
A dedicated session highlighted the news from last European Aniridia Conference, which took place in a Stockholm at the beginning of June.
We were incredibly grateful to the dedicated doctors from Lithuania who traveled to Stockholm to attend the international Aniridia conference. Their commitment to staying informed about the latest research and treatments ensures that our community benefits from the best global practices. By engaging with experts worldwide, they brought back invaluable knowledge to improve care and support for those with aniridia in Lithuania.
The day concluded with a communal meal, allowing everyone to relax and strengthen their connections in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The positive energy and camaraderie at the gathering underscored the importance of such events in building a strong, supportive community.
“AniridijaLT” remains committed to its mission of supporting individuals with aniridia and their families, and the annual members’ meeting is a testament to its dedication to fostering unity, raising awareness, and celebrating the strength of its community.
