We are pleased to announce that ANA (Aniridi
a North America) has published on its website the overview of themes of the 2021 ANA Symposium: PAX6, Aniridia, and Beyond. The meeting was held on November 4-6 on the campus of the University of Virginia and was attended by scientists, clinicians, and representatives of patient advocacy organizations. The list of speakers included aniridia experts from Europe, and among them Pr. Dominique Brémond-Gignac (Université Paris V Descartes, Hôpital Universitaire Necker) and Pr. Neil Lagali (Linköping University), respectively chair and member of Aniridia Europe’s Scientific Committee.
Scientists and medical professionals,had the opportunity to discuss their work with each other, adressing aniridia-related topics such as corneal health, genetics, eye development, glaucoma, and research models and techniques.
